Account Supervisor
Role Overview
The Account Supervisor serves as strategic owner and growth driver for key BioPharm client relationships. While rooted in operational excellence, this role elevates toward upstream consultation, guiding brand strategy integration, identifying expansion opportunities, and fostering long-term account health. AS’s mentor the account team, collaborate closely with Client Engagement Directors, and ensure BioPharm is seen as an indispensable strategic partner.
Hybrid schedule: In-office 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership
• Own senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor who understands brand imperatives, competitive landscapes, and market access dynamics.
• Guide omnichannel program strategy to align with evolving brand objectives, including indications, launch phases, and therapeutic positioning.
• Lead strategic conversations, QBRs, and planning sessions with brand leads and cross-agency partners.
Organic Growth & Portfolio Expansion
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with BioPharm’s Core solutions
• Partner with Client Solutions (Sales) team to contribute to proactive pitches and RFP responses.
• Monitor account performance and surface innovation opportunities leveraging data and analytics.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Oversee and mentor Account Managers / Associate Ams, providing coaching on client management, strategic communication, and project leadership.
• Foster collaboration across internal departments (Content, Design, Analytics, CRM, Data and Technology).
• Champion workflow efficiency, resource planning, and process refinement.
Operational & Financial Management
• Maintain oversight of budgets, SOW adherence, and revenue forecasting.
• Serve as escalation point for scope challenges, timeline contingencies, and client redirection.
• Ensure high standards in QA, delivery, and compliance across all workstreams.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–8+ years healthcare/pharma agency experience, with 2+ years in a client leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead client presentations, QBRs, and cross-functional planning discussions.
• Strong commercial acumen: understands brand strategy, business levers, and tactical ROI.
• Experience mentoring/growing junior account team members.
• Comfort navigating complex medical/legal environments and cross-agency collaboration ecosystems.
