Position Overview:
As we evolve our omnichannel solutions (Tandem) for BioPharm Companies, we are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Director, Data & Product, to lead the development, evolution and scalability of our proprietary data and technology products. This role will be responsible for shaping product strategy from ideation through launch and lifecycle management, while ensuring the underlying platform is aligned with the needs of multiple business units and clients across the organization.
This leader will work cross-functionally with the Executive Leadership Team, Strategy, Data Science & Engineering, Operations Leads, and core-client facing teams to turn ideas into impactful, AI enabled solutions with a focus on data product innovation as the priority. The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking with a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, a strong grasp of data-driven technologies, and the ability to translate complex client needs into scalable, real-world solutions with demonstrated measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Development
· Own the strategic roadmap for our suite of proprietary data and technology products – defining vision, positioning, and differentiated value for internal stakeholders and external clients
· Lead product ideation, development, and go-to-market planning in close collaboration with strategy, engineering, and business stakeholders
· Translate market needs and client feedback into product requirements, prioritizing features and functionality that drive business impact
· Evaluate, test, and apply analytical AI models and methodologies to enhance data-driven insights, optimize segmentation and targeting, and advance the intelligence of Tandem products and solutions
Platform Strategy & Infrastructure Management
· Oversee the evolution of the core data & technology platform that underpins all products ensuring it remains scalable, secure, modular, and adaptable to the needs of various business units and client segments
· Develop a long-term platform strategy that supports data product innovation, accelerates development timelines, and enables seamless integration with third-party systems and data sources
· Establish clear KPIs and manage platform performance and infrastructure in partnership with Data & Analytics Leads to deliver client satisfaction, product adoption, high reliability, and process efficiencies
Cross-Functional & Client-Focused Leadership
· Serve as a strategic liaison between product, strategy, data & analytics, and client-facing teams to ensure alignment of vision, resources and execution
· Drive stakeholder engagement across multiple business units, gathering input and building consensus around priorities
· Develop frameworks for evaluating ROI, usage, and impact across data & technology platform capabilities
· Oversee the team’s marketing campaign performance measurement, managing KPIs, automated client reporting and dashboarding, and supporting the strategy team with strategic campaign analyses to drive optimization and growth
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or technology innovation preferably within healthcare SaaS environments
· Proven experience launching and scaling proprietary products and managing complex platform ecosystems
· Strong understanding of marketing analytics, tagging strategies, business KPIs, data infrastructure, and cloud technologies
· Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical ideas for diverse audiences
· Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders across organizations
· Adept at a consultative approach, and productizing marketing automation solutions that also meet individual client needs
· Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, including advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros), Tableau, Power BI, and related applications for building reports and data-driven insights
· Comfortable navigating the evolving AI landscape with the ability to identify, evaluate, and apply analytical AI techniques to enhance data models, insights, and product solutions
· Experience and understanding of the regulated healthcare industry preferred
